Learning Objectives Participants should be able to: Discuss the effects of infections, including COVID-19, on patients with underlying neuromuscular diseases (NMD) and identify NMDs associated with preceding infections; List the available COVID-19 vaccines, identify their mechanisms of action and describe the effectiveness and adverse effects of these vaccines to apply to clinical practice; Create a plan for infection prevention in patients with NMD including monitoring, prophylaxis and immunization.
