Learning Objectives Theater for Healthcare Equity addresses interaction between patients, providers, and staff, enabling providers to confront bias while cultivating empathy and practicing effective communication. Through interactive theater techniques, participants can consider difficult encounters through activities that engage all of their sense. The playfulness of theater opens the door for participants to move beyond endless conversation to act out problematic scenarios and creativley explore solutions.
