Participants should be able to understand the spectrum of basic practice management, establish a financial analysis and monitoring system, and understand the billing process and benchmarks. Participants should understand the legalities of proper and improper use of electronic medical records. Participants should understand how to incorporate the new federally mandated patient safety initiatives into the medical record.
