Upon Completion:
Participants should become familiar with the current recommendations for thrombolytic, anticoagulant, and antiplatelet therapies for stroke treatment and prevention; how to diagnosis and treat cerebrovascular complications of endocarditis and pregnancy; clinical pearls to assist the general neurologist with interpretation of imaging studies, as well as management of stroke patients in the ICU. Interactive case presentations will demonstrate the faculty's diagnostic and management strategies for a variety of cerebrovascular situations.
