Participants should be able to discuss strategies to mitigate the failure of first line neuropathic pain adjuvants, understand second line pharmacologic and topical treatments, and the role of opioids in neuropathic pain treatment. Participants will understand the expanding types and targets of neuromodulation and where they fit in the treatment algorithm. Participants will understand the facts and fiction behind the use of cannabinoids in the treatment of neuropathic pain.
