Participants should become familiar with neuroimaging and fluid-based biomarkers of AD (and other types of dementia) and their potential clinical utility; understand the ethical dilemmas posed by biomarker-based diagnosis of neurodegenerative diseases; and get an update on the AD drug development pipeline, including clinically meaningful adverse effects associated with drugs being used broadly in clinical trials.
