Upon Completion:
Participants should be able to develop strategies for distinguishing epileptic seizures from certain challenging nonepileptic events in infants, children, and adolescents; gain an understanding of appropriate interventions for correct diagnosis and treatment; develop an understanding for proper selection of pharmacological and surgical treatments in challenging cases of pediatric epilepsy; and gain an understanding of various factors that pose challenges in surgical selection of pediatric candidates.
