Learning Objectives Upon Completion:
Participants should be able to appropriately and cost-effectively refer headache patients for neuroimaging procedures and interpret abnormal findings; order the most clinically useful brain scans on cognitively impaired patients and distinguish pathological findings on brain images of dementia patients from normal senescent changes; utilize cerebrovascular and cardiovascular ultrasound in the management of acute stroke; and understand the basic principles and imminent clinical role of human brain mapping.
