Learning Objectives This talk will enable the participants to:
1.Become familiar with the evidence-based applications for acupuncture in the treatment of various neurologic conditions, including migraine, tension headache, poly- and mono-neuropathy, neck pain, low back pain and stroke rehabilitation. 2.Identify the unique challenges associated with acupuncture research, such as proper blinding, standardized regimens and dosing. 3.Identify patients, who may benefit from acupuncture and feel comfortable with presenting and discussing with patients the use of acupuncture as an adjunct therapy.
