Neurology in Vulnerable Populations: Participants should be able to define social determinants of health and commonly used frameworks to understand the role of social determinants of health in neurological health; describe examples of how social determinants of health lead to neurological disparities; and identify potential solutions to address the impact of social determinants of health on neurological disparities.
Functional Neurological Disorder: Participants should review rule-in signs for FND diagnosis; develop a differential diagnosis for functional neurological disorder; describe diagnostic pitfalls to be aware of when considering a diagnosis of functional neurological disorder; and develop a rational diagnostic workup for a patient with a potential functional neurological disorder.
