Participants will become familar with three important content areas in functional neurological disorder: i) the role of the epileptologist in the diagnosis and management of patients with functional seizures; ii) emerging associations between persistent symptoms post concussion and functional neurological disorder/functional cognitive disorder in some people; and iii) using the emerging pathophysiology of functional neurological disorder to challenge dualistic framings of this condition.
