Participants should be able to by identify rare causes of hyperammonemia and adapt routine diagnostic techniques and treatment methods to the management of clinically challenging hyperammonemic encephalopathy in the critical care setting; employ and interpret advanced monitoring techniques and provide nuanced treatments for patients with moderate to severe traumatic brain injury and intracranial hypertension; anddiscuss controversies in post-cardiac arrest care and neuroprognostication.
