Participants should be able to recognize that EEG misinterpretation leads to deleterious effects in patients with seizures/epilepsy; indicate baseline neurology trainee EEG knowledge and list potential EEG education interventions; describe and apply objective criteria for identifying interictal and ictal epileptiform abnormalities on routine and critical care EEG; and describe and apply objective criteria for identifying non-epileptiform abnormalities on routine and critical care EEG.
