Neuromuscular and Clinical Neurophysiology (EMG)
Participants should become familiar with how to conduct accurate performance of blink reflexes, facial nerve conduction studies, uncommon upper and lower extremity nerve conduction studies, and phrenic nerve conduction studies; understand the role of diaphragmatic ultrasound for evaluation neuromuscular respiratory weakness and practice proper technique; and evaluate complicated waveforms obtained in nerve conduction studies to improve accuracy of assessment and avoid misinterpretation.
