Movement Disorders
This workshop focuses on enhancing knowledge and application of Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS). Participants will: Learn to identify suitable candidates for DBS and understand the processes leading to DBS surgery and therapy; Review relevant anatomy and physiology critical for DBS targeting and their clinical applications; Engage in hands-on demonstrations of DBS platforms, setup, and programming techniques; Explore how to effectively integrate DBS knowledge into programming and the clinical management of patients undergoing DBS.
