Cerebrovascular Disease and Interventional Neurology
A complement of didactic and case-based discussion will review the latest evidence and clinical trials advancing the indications and endovascular treatments for subdural hematomas, cerebral aneurysms, vasospasm, intracranial atherosclerotic disease, and acute ischemic stroke while also exploring novel devices and evolving strategies in neuroendovascular procedures. Through the case-based panel discussion, the participants should become familiar with optimal organization and workflow for stroke systems of care, imaging modalities for procedural guidance, patient selection criteria, and the key factors in endovascular versus medical management decision-making.
