Upon completion of this course participants should nderstand how neurological topics in film have changed over time, as public and societal understanding of neurological disease has changed; Consider how representation of neurologists in film and media affects society's idea of a neurologist, our perception of ourselves as neurologists, and who decides to pursue neurology;Discuss how film and cinema can be used in an educational setting to convey difficult humanistic concepts related to neurology, encourage connections between trainees and increase well-being.
