Participants should be able to describe the role of nutrition in the management of neurological diseases; counsel patients and recommend available evidence-based dietary strategies to include in management of their disease; describe the impact of diet in persons with Parkinson's disease; discuss current "best practice" dietary interventions for prevention of cerebrovascular disease; and discuss the role of diet in management and prevention of multiple sclerosis.
