Massive explosion of health care data coupled with exponential increase in medical knowledge has spurred development of predictive analytics in medicine. Participants should be able to describe the area of predictive analytics and its applications in neurological practice; review steps in the development of a clinical tool in neurology; and discuss fairness and ethics in the adoption of predictive analytics in neurological care.
