Learning Objectives Following this session attendees will: Recognize when neurophysiologic intraoperative monitoring (NIOM) data has changed enough to alert the surgeon of an impending complication; Understand the physiology behind the change in potentials and why that represent potential for neurologic injury; Synthesize proper strategies for alerting the surgeon based on the NIOM data to ensure that communication is meaningful and actionable.
