Health Care Disparities, Cerebrovascular Disease and Interventional Neurology
Participants should become familiar with the gaps in stroke research and be able to identify key factors that have contributed to these research disparities; evaluate and compare disparities in stroke research across different demographic groups; understand how stroke research disparities contribute to health care disparities and discuss the contributing factors that result in a less diverse participant population in stroke clinical trials; and propose evidence-based strategies on how to address stroke research disparities with examples and future directions
