The electronic health record when leveraged fully can be a powerful tool to facilitate a deeper understanding of health care disparities in neurological care, which in turn will help drive targeted interventions that will hopefully result in more  equitable, higher quality, patient-centered neurological health care. This session will introduce the AAN's Toolkit for Improving the Accuracy and Completeness of Race and Ethnicity Data Collected in Your Practice, and discuss EHR functionality and associated workflows that can be used to support optimized data collection.
