Learning Objectives
Participants should learn to use the AAN’s evidence-based clinical practice guidelines to inform their treatment decisions and diagnoses. This session is an open discussion about using AAN guidelines in clinical practice with 2-3 brief case scenarios and audience polling to evaluate knowledge, usage, and effectiveness of guideline use. Faculty will discuss the guideline development process and how members of the audience could potentially engage in the AAN guideline process.
