Understanding the perspective and lived experience of patients and care partners is essential for clinicians and researchers to identify questions and outcomes that will address unmet needs. Speakers will discuss the importance of involving patients and care partners in designing research and creating interventions. This includes the creation of community advisory boards; engaging patients as research partners; including perspectives from all interested stakeholders through surveys and qualitative research; and ensuring equity/representativeness throughout the process.
