    Designed for up to 15 medical students with limited research experience relevant to clinical or neuroscience fields who have a supporting preceptor and a project with clearly defined goals.

  • 好色先生 Research Grant

    The purpose of the 好色先生 Research Grant is to study the effectiveness of neurological education programs. Three grants, each in the amount of $10,000 are to be awarded based on the quality of proposal and merits of the project.

  • Visiting Medical Student Diversity Scholarship

    This program is for 4th-year AAN member US medical students planning a neurology rotation at an LCME/AOA-approved US medical school or the National Institute of Health. It aims to address systemic barriers limiting access for underrepresented groups in medicine.

  • Visiting Medical Student Scholarship

    This program is geared toward 4th-year AAN member US medical students who plan to pursue a Neurology visiting student rotation at a LCME/AOA approved US medical school or a National Institute of Health. 

  • QI Innovation Award

    The QI Innovation Award recognizes quality improvement (QI) projects designed to improve safety and/or quality in practice. Up to two recipients will be selected each year.

  • Neuroscience Research Prize

    This award is designed to encourage high school students to explore the world of the brain and nervous system through research, identify and reward those students whose scientific skill and talent indicate potential for scientific contributions in the field of neuroscience, and recognize the efforts

  • Futures in Neurologic Research Scholarship to the Annual Meeting

    The purpose of the Futures in Neurologic Research (FiNR) scholarship is to offer AAN Annual Meeting registration to medical students, residents, and early career fellows who are interested in careers in neurologic research.
