Designed for up to 15 medical students with limited research experience relevant to clinical or neuroscience fields who have a supporting preceptor and a project with clearly defined goals.

The purpose of this award is to help stimulate medical students’ interest in pursuing the field of neurology by offering them the opportunity to attend the AAN Annual Meeting. Preference is given to students in their third year or above, and those involved with SIGN leadership.

The purpose of the ºÃÉ«ÏÈÉú Research Grant is to study the effectiveness of neurological education programs. Three grants, each in the amount of $10,000 are to be awarded based on the quality of proposal and merits of the project.

This program is for 4th-year AAN member US medical students planning a neurology rotation at an LCME/AOA-approved US medical school or the National Institute of Health. It aims to address systemic barriers limiting access for underrepresented groups in medicine.

The QI Innovation Award recognizes quality improvement (QI) projects designed to improve safety and/or quality in practice. Up to two recipients will be selected each year.

This award is designed to encourage high school students to explore the world of the brain and nervous system through research, identify and reward those students whose scientific skill and talent indicate potential for scientific contributions in the field of neuroscience, and recognize the efforts

The purpose of the Futures in Neurologic Research (FiNR) scholarship is to offer AAN Annual Meeting registration to medical students, residents, and early career fellows who are interested in careers in neurologic research.
