Aging and Dementia
Participants will be able to identify the major neurological disorders linked to obesity; articulate mechanisms through which obesity influences brain health; understand the interplay of the genetics of body weight regulation in relationship to the underlying neural mechanisms associated with neurological disease; and be familiar with emerging treatment approaches for obesity such as dietary interventions, intermittent fasting, intranasal insulin, growth hormone, and bariatric surgery among others.
