Neurology on the Hill: About the Conference

Why Attend

  • Gain insights from congressional leaders, consultants, and Academy staff about the political process. Take neurology's message directly to your senators and representative.
  • Develop working relationships with members of Congress, their staff, and fellow neurologists.
  • Participants will be provided with the tools, information, and speaking points to address the Academy's concerns.

Registration

  • After the application deadline, all applicants are reviewed and selected by the Advocacy Engagement Subcommittee.
  • Selection notifications will be sent via noh@aan.com.
  • Those not selected will be placed on a waitlist.

 I discovered how good it felt to be an advocate. I was advocating for my patients, for my peers, for myself. I realized that being a doctor should not be limited by the four walls of my exam room. A physician advocate heals and actively looks for solutions for these system-wide problems.
