Annual Meeting: Abstracts

2025 Late-breaking Science Abstracts

The AAN is currently accepting submissions for Late-breaking Science abstracts for the 2025 Annual Meeting. All submissions are due Wednesday, January 22, at 11:59 p.m. CT. Accepted abstracts are required to be presented in person at the 2025 Annual Meeting in San Diego, CA. Please review the abstract guidelines for important information.

The Late-breaking Science program (formerly Emerging Science) highlights the most current research being done in the field of neurology. Abstracts qualify for Late-breaking Science presentations by having key aspects of research conducted after the October abstract submission deadline. These abstracts must present new, timely, and significant scientific findings, with innovative content warranting expedited presentation and publication. Case reports are not acceptable submissions and will not be considered.

Late-breaking Science submissions must not have been presented or published elsewhere prior to the 2025 Annual Meeting.
